Margaret (Peggy) Eva Mattern, age 80, of Economy Borough, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Daughter of the late John and Marion (Carver) Uncapher and beloved wife of 60 years to Richard H. Mattern. Loving mother of Debra (Gary) Baacke, Shari Cole, and Susan (Eric) Schubert. Her 6 grandchildren, Melissa, Amy, Ryan, Holden, Natalie and Katie and 6 great grandchildren, Logan, Deacon, Cecilia, Annaliese, Ian, and Luke brought her abundant joy.

She enjoyed monthly luncheons with ladies of her 1959 graduating class of Ambridge Area High School. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church Lovi. She most enjoyed the love of her family.

Family and friends are welcome Tuesday at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Tuesday from 2 – 4, 6 – 8. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center for pancreatic cancer research
