Margaret Palmer, 86, peacefully passed surrounded by her loved ones during the sunny afternoon of Saturday, September 14, 2024. She is survived by her children, Bradford Palmer and Lisa (Theodore) Kilyk, as well as her grandchildren, Luke Palmer and Grace (Vince) Rose. She will join her husband Charles, beloved mother Loretta, father John, brother Robert, and sister Rita in Heaven. Margaret will be remembered for her love of her family, crosswords, Jeopardy, and perusing the aisles of her local grocery store. Margaret was a night owl who loved the color yellow, her Sunday newspaper, and keeping up with the royal family. Margaret’s sharp intelligence allowed her to excel at everything she put her mind to, whether it was mathematics, crocheting, crafting, gardening, or perfecting her signature meticulous handwriting. She took pride in spiffing up her tidy, beautifully maintained home of more than 50 years. She was always there to offer sound advice and a loving word to anyone in need of a friend. Margaret’s intelligence, gentle beauty, glowing smile, and clever wit made every situation better. Margaret faithfully cared for her husband Charles for nearly 60 years. She tended to him with the dedication, patience, and grace few people possess. Her greatest passion in life was her children, Lisa and Brad. She cared endlessly for her kids and grandchildren, playing, giggling, and falling victim to pranks with a big laugh. Margaret was there for her family in good times and bad, no questions asked. She was known for her joyful spirit and comforting presence. Her smile lit up every room she was in. We will always carry her kind and gentle love in our hearts. Margaret, you will be missed every moment forever. We love you. Written in Margaret’s memory by her granddaughter, Grace Margaret Rose.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday from 9-10:50 am at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home at 11 am on Friday, officiated by Rev. Jim Wehner, Pastor, Divine Grace Parish.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Margaret’s name to a charity of the donors choice.
