Age 84, of the North Hills, died suddenly on Saturday, December 6, 2014. She was preceded in death by her dear husband of 48 years, Hal Buterbaugh; and her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Geyer. Marge’s family and her “4 angels” meant the world to her and she enjoyed every minute with them. Loving and devoted mother of Jackie Graham (Rich), Donna Bricker, Peggy Westbrook (Ray), and Karen Hartman (Scott); cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Tom), David (Jill), Beth (Severn), Jeff, Paula (Daryl), Jessica (Toby), Michael, Taylor, Jonathon, Daniel, Scott and Maggie; great-grandmother of Tristan, Jordan, Aurora, Logan, Abigail, Juliet, John, Mya, and Zachary; beloved sister of Jess and Nancy Geyer; very dear friend of Helen Wisniewski and her sister-in-law, Aggie Buterbaugh; dearest aunt of Carl (Vicky) and Steve (Rob) Geyer; she is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews of the Buterbaugh, Geyer, and Schwab clans, her Puddle Buddies, the 50 and Over Club, her Pinochle gang, Millvale High alumni, and the many friends she made and treasured throughout her life. She was a longtime resident of Spring Garden and a former member of Most Holy Name Church and was known throughout the neighborhood during her 25 years at Flore’s Bakery. Everyone loved Margie. She was the life of the party and always ready to dance with a smile and a twinkle in her blue eyes. Viewing will be held on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., Pgh., PA 15229. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 800 Avila Court, Pgh., PA 15237. The family requests donations to DePaul School for Hearing & Speech, 6202 Alder St., Pgh., PA 15206.
