LOUISE M. YOVANOVICH (Boelky)

October 23, 1927 – March 3, 2023.

Age 95 of Laurel Gardens, Ross Township, on Friday, March 3rd, 2023. Daughter of the Late Louis and Theresa Boelky, Louise was the loving wife of 67 years to the late Peter Yovanovich, cherished and loving Mom to the late David P. Yovanovich, Joanne (the late Hugh) Garfold, and Diane Yovanovich, Proud and loving grandma to Joseph (Emily) Garfold and Daniel P. Garfold (Harley); Happy Great Grandma to Sweet One year old Anthony James! Oldest sister of Theresa Burns, of Ross Township, the Late Ann Prem, the Late Joseph Boelky, the Late Charles Boelky and the Late Mary Ann Sweeney, several loving nieces and nephews, too! Our mom’s life was her family, her husband, and loved the company of her “kids” as she called us. (Dave, Joanne, and Diane), her grandsons, Joe and Dan, and was always happy when we were all together! Her dear friends Charlene, Ron and Lois,… her caring neighbors, Karen, Casey, Connor and Merri, Patty and Paul, Tom, Mary and Paul and several others. Louise loved her trips to the casino and the “casino crew”, Joanne, Theresa, Diane and her Kathy! and would spend hours there! (most of the time she was pretty lucky, too)! She loved Cooking in her earlier years, gardening, her back porch and was a great lover of animals. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the greater Pittsburgh food bank, Humane Animal rescue of Pittsburgh, or the Salavation Army, ASPCA, or Peta all of which Louise made donations to. Friends will be received on Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp.. where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday 10:30AM.
