Loretta W. Schneider – Age 93, of Strongsville, Ohio, formerly of Allison Park, died Thursday, October 11, 2018. Born April 8, 1925, daughter of the late Richard and Pauline Walsh and sister of the late Kathleen Walsh and Ruth Hensler. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to the late Dr. Robert E. Schneider; loving mother of Robert R. Schneider, Kim S. (Thomas) Gigliotti and Barbara (Michael) Baudler; caring Nana of T.J., Brett (Ashley) and Brittany (Fiancée Kegan Christian) Gigliotti, Emily, Austin, Andrew and Jake Baudler. Loretta leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Loretta attended Business Training College in Pittsburgh and worked at Presbyterian Hospital Radiology Department where she met her late husband. She was a member of Pittsburgh’s Model Club where she obviously obtained her love for fashion and “dressing to the nines.” After marrying Bob, she devoted her life to raising her family. She loved being a mother and then “Nana” to her 7 grandchildren. Spending time with her family and friends was very important to her. She would spend hours cooking and baking to prepare for company and always had a special gift of making everyone feel welcome.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 PM at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at Sts. John and Paul Parish at 10 AM.
