Age 80, of Cranberry TWP, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Born November 29, 1945, in Beaver Falls, PA is the daughter of the late Paul and Josephine (Harter) Oravitz; beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” J. Stefan; loving mother of Todd, the late Kristen Stefan, Hope Meredith Wolfe, and Richard Domster; proud grandmother of Tyler Paul Stefan, and Robert Jay Wolfe III. Linda was employed by and volunteered at the Cranberry Public Library for several years. Arrangements have been entrusted to DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of Cranberry Township.

So sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. She and I worked together at the library and kept in touch afterward. She had a way of cutting to the core of things and finding humor in many situations. Her devotion and pride in her family was clear, and how much she missed her husband, Bob.

We are so sorry for your loss. Your mom was one of our first friends when we moved on Woodridge. We shared many great times and enjoyed her company and her stories. She and your dad were godparents to our son Greg. We will always remember her and her special brand of humor. Again our deepest sympathies

I worked at the Cranberry Library with your Mom for many years, and always on Monday evenings. With her, it was never dull. Her love and concern for her family was paramount, but she also cared for fellow staff members and had a big heart.

We were so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. Although we usually saw Linda and Bob at family reunions, those gatherings gave us many warm memories of them both over the years.
My Bob still smiles when he remembers how Linda would bring an apple pie from Brown’s Kitchen because she knew how much he liked it, and then jokingly try to convince him that she had baked it herself. It was just a little thing, but those are often the memories that stay with us and make us smile.
Linda and Bob will both be remembered fondly, and I hope the memories of your mother and father and the years you shared as a family will bring you comfort.

Linda was so fun to work with at the library. She was always making people laugh. I’m sorry for your loss.

I worked with Linda for many years when I was a newbie at Cranberry Public Library. It was always a good time when we worked together. Smart as a whip, witty, laughs a plenty and her ability to keep things real made me love her! She spoke often about her son Todd and her daughter Hope, their children and their accomplishments. I remember your mom fondly.
I still quote Linda Stefan to this day from the many days we worked together. She was a library legend.
