Lester J. Ayres, of Observatory Hill, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008. Beloved husband of Anna Mae (Glatz) Ayres; loving father of Carol (Walter) Smith, Diane (Lawrence) Galla, James (Deborah) Ayres and Janet (Anthony) Ciangiarulo; brother of the late Mildred Tomosky; also survived by eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNRAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Aloysius Church.
