Lavina M. (Schafer) Stackhouse, 88, of West View, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Stackhouse; sister of Anna Mae Lutty and Florence Silbach; also survived by six nieces; one nephew; three grand-nieces; three grand-nephews; also by dear friends. She was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister. Visitation from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills, where service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 501 North Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15209.
