Kurt J. Schurer, 46, of McCandless and El Salvador, died suddenly Friday, Oct. 10, 2014. He was the husband of Ivania (Rivas); father of Joseph Francis and Maria Isabella; son of Louis and Lois (Ferla) Schurer; and brother of Janice Huwe (Schurer). He is also survived by loving friends and relatives. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 until the time of the prayer service at 8 p.m. Tuesday at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME INC., 806 Perry Highway, Ross Township.
