Kimberly Ann Ferko Locke, age 55 of Cranberry Twp, passed away at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Thursday, October 19, 2017 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 22, 1962 in New Martinsville, West Virginia.
Kim graduated North Allegheny High School in Wexford PA in 1980and held a BS in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. She worked as an Occupational Therapist for Premier Therapy at the Friendship Ridge Senior Care Community in Beaver, Pennsylvania.
Kim was kind and generous to everyone she met, and loved spending time with her daughter, family, and friends. She made her way through life’s challenges with optimism, grace, grit, and integrity.
Kim is survived by her daughter, Christina Fanning, her parents, James and Francelia Ferko, her brothers and their spouses, Ken and Jessica Ferko, John and Allison Ferko, her sister Julie Callicutt and her spouse, John Callicutt, along with her husband Herman Locke. Kim is also survived by her niece and three nephews, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Nicholas and Joseph Ferko. She was preceded in death by her son, Fredrick Fanning.
Friends received Thursday 2-4& 6-8 pm and Friday 10 am until time of Blessing service at 11 a.m. at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry.

Kim was the sweet little girl that lived next door. She and her family are so dear to my heart. I have so many wonderful memories of Kim growing up to be a beautiful person, inside and out. Her struggle is over, and rest assured she will never be forgotten in the hearts of many. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Ferko family.
