Kathy Cancilla (Gawlik), age 63, an adoring mother, loving sister, gifted artist, and dedicated Christian passed on Sunday, June 16, 2013 after a long time battle with cancer. Kathy is survived by her two sons, Todd Cancilla (Barb) and Jesse Cancilla (Lisa); Her former husband and friend Fred Cancilla; Two sisters Joann (the late Marshall) and Gladys (David); Three grandchildren Conner, Corina, and Crystal; Her nieces and nephew Amanda and Ashley (Jason), Hailey and Mason; Also survived by her faithful friend Poppy. There are no words to describe her unwavering faith. Memorial service is to be held Saturday June 22, 2013 at 12:00PM at New Community Church, 3100 Wexford Road, Wexford, PA 15090. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to your favorite charity, or Kathy’s favorite Pine Valley Camp, 504 Chapel Dr, Ellwood City, PA 16117. My deepest sympathy to the family. I knew Kathy for many years from working at Passavant Hospital. She was always so cheerful and a great co-worker. She will be deeply missed. We must remember that Someday We Will All Meet Again.
