Karl G. Piedle, 97, of West View, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Alice R. (Salamon) Piedle; father of Alice Marie (Charles) Boyle, Mary Carol (Tony) Spencer and Anne E. (Paul) Jadlowiec; brother of Helen Kilzer; also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Karl was a World War II Army veteran, receiving a Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart Medal. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Athanasius Church.
