LuPONE JOSEPHINE C. Of Ross Twp., passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Wife of the late William A. LuPone, Sr.; loving mother of William and Elaine LuPone, Jr., and Nancy and David Connelly; proud grandmother of Ryan A. LuPone, Katie M. LuPone, Avery Connelly, Maxwell Connelly, Jack Connelly, and Ben Connelly; also survived by many loving friends and relatives. Friends will be received on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at Wildwood Golf Club, (in the Tea Room), 2195 Sample Road, Allison Park, PA 15101. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Sebastian Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. Jo, a longtime residence of Ross Township, was called to her heavenly home at the age of 91. She will forever be remembered as the loving mother and one of Pittsburgh’s greatest sports fans. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jo’s Favorite Charity “Misericordia Heart of Mercy (Benefiting Special Needs), 6300 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, IL 60660.
