Age 83 of Ross Twp., Died on 11-9-05 in St. Barnabas Nursing Home. He was born in Pittsburgh on 5-5-1922 son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Armstrong. Joseph was a retired Computer supervisor for Fischer Scientific.
Beloved Husband of Margaret (Cleary) Armstrong. Father of Joseph S. III, Fr. James L., Pastor of St. Peter’s Church, Slippery Rock and Jeffrey A. Armstrong. Brother of Betty Miller and the late Ward Armstrong. Grandfather of Nicole and Bobby. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation Sat 7-9 PM and Sun 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peters Church Monday 10 AM. Interment will follow in North Side Catholic cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Church, 720 Arch Street, Pittsburgh Pa 15212.
