Joseph C. Mahoney, of McCandless Township, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012. He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Dolores R. (Cambest) Mahoney; father of Corinne A. Moran, Kathleen M. Pendziwiater and her late husband, Daniel, Joseph M. Mahoney, Dolores R. Walsh (Stephen), Kevin J. Mahoney (Jamie) and the late Donna Schilber, Mary Fabry and Dorothy Mahoney; brother of Dorothy Mahoney, Helen Cambest and James Mahoney; also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Joe served in the Army Air Corps as a staff sergeant during World War II, receiving a Bronze Star. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Teresa of Avila Church Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Teresa of Avila Church or Vincentian Home.
