Joseph Barth
November 18, 1934 - January 26, 2005
age 70 of Perry Hill top died on Wed. 1-26-05 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born in Pgh on 11-18-34 son of the late Leo and Helen Barth. He was a retired City of Pgh Police Officer. Member of FOP Fort Pitt Lodge #1, American Legion Post 710, Past Master of the Doric Masonic Lodge of Sewickley and one of the founding members of the Blue Knights and a US Navy Veteran.
Survived by his wife, Paula Carr Barth, Father of Sharon Smith ( Steve), Christopher Sopko, and Kenneth Barth (Wendy). Grandfather of Shane and Sawyer Smith and the late Regina Barth. Brother of Mary Fisher, Leo, Edward, Charles, Patrick, Alice, Bernadette Fisher and the late Theresa Eibeck and the late Helen Herman.
Visitation Thurs. And Fri. 2-4, 7-9 PM at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Mount Church, Mt. Washington Sat. 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in North Side Catholic Cemetery.
