Beloved husband for 40 years of Margaret (Quinn); Loving father of Kimberly Melocchi (Tony), Angela McCarrison, Christine Meyer (Marvin) and Maura Ward (Jonathan); Proud grandfather of 7; Brother of Louis Bennardo and Edie McCauley; Also survived by loving relatives and friends. Farewell to my friend and golfing buddy. I’ll always remember the good times joking and ribbing with brother Lou, Ed Lang, you and I on the golf courses. Rest in peace. Go with God. I will miss you.

Joey was an angel in life and I can only imagine he will be the best angel now. He will be missed.
We are blessed & privileged to have been friends of & a part of Joe’s life. His passing will leave a void in our lives however, we have many wonderful memories to help with the loss of such a fine man. Joe was not only a sincere & caring individual but he truly epitomized what a gentleman should be. Having been nicknamed “no Joe’ by Kathy as a result of not measuring up to Joe’s thoughtfulness & many talents, I can only aspire to be the good person Joe was as he had a positive & lasting impact on everyone he met.
