John T. (Jack) Lydon, 61, of Cranberry Township died unexpectedly Sunday, March 19, 2023.
Jack is survived by his wife Wendy O’Brien Lydon and daughter Keara Lydon; parents Dan and Joan (Atwell) Lydon; loving brother of Kelly (Russ) Foster, Kevin (Sue), and sister-in-law Tracy (late Dan); brother-in-law of Shelley (Craig) Dolan and Terry O’Brien; Uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Jack was a 1980 graduate of Baldwin High School. He received his BA from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and was a Certified Public Accountant. Jack was the Chief Financial Officer for Allegheny Steel Distributors.
Jack was a devoted and loving father to his daughter, Keara and he enjoyed many hours together on the golf course and enjoying a Tito’s or two, which helped to contribute to his nickname, Vodka Jack! His greatest joy was his daughter! He was a fantastic father!! Jack was an excellent chef and used his culinary skills at many family holiday dinners. He enjoyed the movie Mama Mia and the occasional drink that had a little umbrella in it and provided many moments of laughter for those around him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

    Wendy, Keara and Lydon family,
I extend my prayers and sincere sympathy to all 🙏! I am devastated to hear of Jack’s passing. I will keep the fond memories close – hoisting coolers on the garage roof of college apartment, flipping golf carts at South Park, intense games of quarters and thumper, and loving Jack’s sarcastic comments. Good friend and great guy gone way too soon. Though our recent connections have been infrequent, I will surely miss Jack. Godspeed Jack Lydon!
