Age 86, of Ingomar, formerly of Ingram, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, January 7, 2016. John was a Korean War veteran, an Ingram Councilman, a charter member of Ascension Church and retired from U.S. Steel as an executive product manager after 37 years. Dearly loved husband for 65 years of Mary (Friel) Gill; loving father of Mamie (Robert) Baldwin, Peggy (Pat) Kelly, Tricia (Bob) Musiol, Maureen (Paul) Ahern and John (Susan) Gill; beloved grandfather of Kevin and John Baldwin, Maura Musiol, Marty (Lauran), Paul (Meghan), Brian, and Rory Ahern, John, Jr. and Michael Gill; loving great-grandfather of Holden Ahern; dear son of the late Elizabeth (Cypher) and Thomas Gill; loving brother of the late Marie ( the late John) Donohue, Elizabeth “Betty” Gill and Thomas Gill, Jr.; also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. Friends received on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday 10 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church, 2230 Rochester Rd., Pgh., PA 15237. Everyone please meet at church. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
