SHANNON JOHN T., JR. “SONNY”
Age 59, of Brighton Heights, on Monday, December 7, 2009. Son of the late John T. Sr. and Mary (Bann) Shannon; beloved husband of Loren Renee (Bright) Shannon; loving father of John T. “Jack” (Kelly) and Sonny Leigh Shannon; dear grandfather of Kelsey Leigh, J.T. IV, Desmond and Madalynn; brother of Patrick F. Shannon, Charlotte Shannon, Jacquelyn Boggs, Michael Shannon and the late Christine and Mary Shannon; also survived by nieces and nephews. Sonny was a long time Pittsburgh Press employee, International representative of GCC/IBT Union and Past President of Local 9. Friends received Thursday 2-9pm at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter’s Church N.S. Friday 9:30am.
