John A. Schroeder, 90, of Ross Township, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Marie “Mitzi” (Ryan) Schroeder; loving father of John (Mary Jane) Schroeder, of Winterhaven, Fla., Sandy (Ron) Hockenberry, of Orlando, Fla., Mark (Lisa) Schroeder, of Ambridge, Jeff (Mimi) Sobek, of Bethel Park, Darlene Sobek, of Beechview, Kim (Travis) Holt, of Troutman, N.C., Kathy (Ed) Sandsmark, of Irwin, April (Keith) McCann, of Economy Borough; also survived by 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. John was a self-employed contractor and a World War II Army veteran. Services and interment private. Arrangements by T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME.
