John B. “Jack” McGivern, 82, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Sharpsburg, died Sunday, April 13, 2008. Loving husband of Shirley; devoted father of Sharon Climo, John McGivern (Lori), Sue Cherry (Richard), Karyn McGivern and James McGivern (Vanessa); also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ferdinand’s Church. Arrangements by DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
