Carol, we were so sorry to read about John’s passing. John and I were co-workers at Hampton and I recall him as always being gentle and respectful to colleagues and students. I liked him very much. He often talked about you, knowing that Joe worked with you in Shaler. Understanding that you were each other’s best friend, we pray for your comfort in the weeks and months to come.
Hi Mrs Ferry, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My condolences.
I was sad to hear about John. I worked with him at Poff Elementary School. He was such a kind and friendly man. He touched the lives of many students throughout the years. May he rest in peace. 🙏
I couldn’t ask for a better friend, kinder person, better listener or just a great guy then John. We became friends when we were seniors in high school, hung out for a few years and then lost track of each other for 40 years. When we reconnected in 2008, it was like those years never happened, so we picked up the pieces and moved on with our lives. I met Carol and knew from that day on John had met his soulmate. She was the perfect match for John and their lives together reflected that union. I cannot begin to feel the pain and sorrow that you are feeling Carol but I’m sure you and John prepared each other for the day when death would take you apart and he will someway be at your side to guide you through his passing. You are a wonderful wife and took excelent care of him. He has found his place in heaven and is waiting for you there.
John and I were more like brothers than cousins. We both served in Vietnam and always spoke to each other on Sundays. I miss him very much.
