John E. “Jack” Watkins, 92, of Ross, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010. Beloved husband of Florence (Rausch) Watkins; loving father of M. Kimberly Steele (Dan Fish), John C. “Jay” Watkins (Karen) and the late Alexis McCay-Joyner (her surviving spouse, Woody); dear grandfather of Julie, Jason, Richard and Michael Steele and Erin and Jayna Watkins; great-grandfather of Leah Elizabeth Steele. Jack was a World War II Army veteran serving during D-Day. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the TB. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Teresa of Avila Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Wexford House Activities Fund, 9850 Old Perry Highway, Wexford, PA 15090.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your father, husband and our “Uncle” Jack. He was always such a fun and light hearted man. My dad and Uncle Jack together, such a hoot! I know you will all miss him dearly and know that we only wish we could be there to give you all a big hug! Especially you Aunt Florence.. you were both such a big part of my young life.
