Age 93 of Brighton Hts. On Wednesday August 6, 2014. Beloved husband of Dolores (Connors) Ward. Loving and best father of Sharon A. Gabos (Boats), Thomas P. Ward (Terri), and John F. Ward (Stacy). Devoted grandfather of Buzz (Nicole) and Rock Gabos (Shannon), Renee Triscila (Adam), Megan Ward, Erin Stolarczyk (Brian), Tim Ward (Julie), Cara Picciafoco (Craig), Mike and Mary Ward. Dear great grandfather of Ryan, Joseph, Max, Reilly, Ava, Ella, Henry, Jack, and Nora. Dear uncle of Ronnie Gawlak and Kathy Katchmark. Jack was the son of the late Patrick and Nellie Collins Ward. He was a retired Pittsburgh Police officer, a member of FOP Lodge # 1 and served in the Army European theatre during WWII. Friends received Friday 2-8 PM at the Devlin Funeral Home, Inc. 806 Perry Hwy. North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church Saturday at 9:30 AM.
