John J. “Jack” Miller, 96, of Shaler passed away on April 19, 2023. Son to the late Harry and Edna Miller and step son to Anna Mae Miller; loving husband of 70 years to Lois (Anderson) Miller, father to Jeff (Stella) Miller, Dave (Barbara) Miller, the late Shirley Miller, Thomas (Sherri) Miller, and Patty (Tad) Parkhill; 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brother to Mary Ann (Tim) Rooney, and the late Harry Miller (Navy WWII) and the late Ray Miller.

Jack was raised in the Brighton Heights area where he developed his strong family and catholic values. Graduate of St Cyril, North Catholic (1944) and Duquesne University. Navy veteran of WWII. He had a successful career as a salesman with Unitog Company for over 35 years. Jack was a lifelong fan of Pittsburgh sports. He enjoyed golfing and keeping in shape. His greatest joy came later in life where he so enjoyed his grandchildren and was overjoyed to be a great grandfather.

Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at DEVLIN Funeral Home Inc., 806 Perry Hwy. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Athanasius Church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.
