Age 85 formerly of Morningside, on Saturday January 31, 2015. Brother of the late Carl Hilinski (survived by his wife, Martha). Uncle of Suzanne and Fred Dittrich, Kathleen and David Gruseck, Bill and Donna Hilinski and the late Carl Hilinski. John was a life-long resident of Pittsburgh, and a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, Morningside for 54 years. He was retired from the Craft Products Co. on Pgh’s Northside. John was a season ticket holder for the Civic Light Opera for 50 years, and was a supporter of all the Pittsburgh Arts. He was a member of several travel clubs and a regular at dances in the area. The last few years John has been a resident at St. John Specialty Care Home in Mars, Pa. Visitation Wednesday 2-4, 6-8 PM at the Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. 724-772-8800. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael Church, Morningside, Thursday at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
