I am so sorry to hear that my cousin, John, has passed. I have many fond memories of times we spent together as children and young men: fishing, but never catching anything, at North Park; playing tackle football at his home on York Drive; roller skating Friday nights at the Bellevue YMCA; and enjoying Friday nights with John, Mary, and my wife, Carol, at Miller’s Tavern (John loved those sausage sandwiches!). I was so honored to be the best man at John and Mary’s wedding. Rest in peace, John.
