I had the pleasure of working with John on several projects with HBE. In my opinion of a professional, he was the best friend, leader, and caring leader a superintendent could ask for. Giving, honest, caring for the people who worked for and with him. God bless you John, I will never forget you, your work ethic’s and friendship you shared with me and everyone around me. So sorry to hear that your gone. Wanting to tell your survivors he was a man’s man and a great friend God bless you and yours

Hello. I’m Anthony(Pete) Scrabis and Helen Zakareckas Scrabis’s great niece. My mother’s name was Joanne Rita Peremba Moore. I’m typing these names first, because we might be related. My deepest sympathies on the loss of your loved one.

I am sorry about your loss. Death is always difficult to deal with, no matter the circumstances. Even though I did not know John, I try my best to encourage the bereaved with a comforting thought from God’s word the bible. Faith in God is vital in helping us cope with the loss of loved ones. Notice this reminder at Hebrews chapter 11 and verse 6. It says in part, "without faith it is impossible to please God well, for whoever approaches God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him." The reward that is offered to those sleeping in death and to the living is everlasting life. This is a sure hope to those with strong faith in God’s promises. I hope that this brief thought from God’s word provides some comfort. More information is available at www.jw.org.

To the Scrabis Family, I was so sorry to hear about John. We were classmates at St. Francis deSales High School. Although I never kept in touch with anyone until our 50th class reunion, I remember John very well. Please accept my condolences. John will be remembered in my prayers. May he rest in peace. Fran Lopinsky
