John A. Yocca, age 86, of Ross Twp., passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Judith L. (Flamgletti) Yocca; loving father of Gregory (Sue) Yocca, Linda Brittner, Pamela Yocca, and the late John Yocca; dear brother of Samuel Yocca and the late Joseph Yocca; proud grandfather of Tina DeGolier, Tina Spirk, and Tracy Spirk. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
John was a longtime parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila Parish, was a graduate of Duquesne University, and a Sears retiree. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was also active in his community.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 4-7 pm and Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy. Pittsburgh, PA 15229, North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Interment will follow in North Side Catholic Cemetery.
