My earliest memories of Joann were visits every Christmas day with my maternal cousin Bob Fohl, his mom Anne and his sister Margie. I thought she was the most pretty and fancy woman and I knew. I was then five to nine years old. Later I also realized how elegant and gracious she is whatever the situation. She was a joy to talk to because she was truly interested in others and so easy to talk with. We corresponded via Xmas cards & she was always warm, upbeat and caring. I’m grateful for knowing Joann. Heartfelt condolences to all those who loved her.
