of Allison Park, artist, theater lover, and avid reader, left our arms on Sunday, October 30th, 2016. Joanie was born October 15th, 1943, on the South Side of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in her rest by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Suchy, and nephews Ed and Joe Decker. She is survived by her children, Robert and Christine Amity of Pittsburgh, John and Lil Amity of Harrisburg, Mike Amity and fiancée Lori Sexton, of Hampton Township, and Shannon Martinek, of Reserve Township. Joan was the proud Grandma of ten, and great-Grandma of fourteen. Loving sister of Loretta Binger and Anne Decker (the late Ed), and the late Joe Suchy, and Aunt Joanie to eight nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15229, (412) 364-0510, Friday November 4th, from 1-3PM with a service at 2:30PM, and 6:00 until 8PM.
