Jerry Koch, age 98, of McCandless Twp., went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Devoted husband of 71 years to Marion (Kopp) Koch. He was born on August 18, 1919 to Julia Koch in Latrobe, PA; he had two sisters and three brothers, all deceased; he was the loving father of Gary A, Koch, who died suddenly two years ago, and Alan Koch (Tina); he was a proud grandfather to Gary D. Koch and Joseph Koch (Talula).

Jerry served four years in Merchant Marines during WWII. He was employed by the H.J. Heinz Company in various positions for 40 years. Jerry was a resident of the Haven of North Hills and was known for his sense of humor and singing. He and Marion enjoyed dancing every Saturday night until he was in his early 90’s. Marion would like to thank the staff of Gateway Hospice for the compassionate care of Jerry and herself.

Friends received Sunday, 2-5 p.m. at Devlin Funeral Home, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa of Avila Church, Monday 10 a.m.
