Jean Paris

April 25, 2024 - July 24, 2014

Our dear, beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, Jean Marie Gorder Paris, of Cranberry Twp., 60, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 24, 2014 while visiting family in Utah and Idaho. Jeannie has returned to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. She was born in Roy, Utah where she met her loving husband who was stationed there in the Air Force. They were wed on May 21, 1975 and she followed the love of her life to his home of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where they spent 39 wonderful years together raising their beautiful family. Jeannie began working in 1991 at her son’s local elementary school to help ease his transition into going to school and continued to work there up until the spring of 2014. She also volunteered in various capacities at her local church. Jeannie was well known for her selfless acts of giving and unconditional love for her family. She was a true and loyal friend to those who knew her best. Jeannie is survived by her loving husband, Greg Paris, and their children and spouse Crystal (Mark) Weimer, and Zachary Paris, a precious granddaughter little Mavis Jean Josephine Weimer, a grandpuppy Indy, her mother Lesley Gorder, two brothers Lynn (Dana) Gorder, and Jeff (Tracy) Gorder, and a sister Susan (Alan) Hatch, and many nieces and nephews. Jeannie’s greatest joy was becoming a grandmother, as she spent every free minute showering Mavis with love and creating special memories. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., 724-772-8800. Services will be held on Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2771 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 at 10:00 am.

Dear Crystal and Zac so sorry to hear the passing of your Mom. She was a lovely lady. I enjoyed having her as a parent, when I had the both of you in First Grade at Rowan. You and your families will be in my thoughts and prayers.
    Sincerely,
    Maxine Botti
