Dear Jean always welcomed newcomers to the dance, and reached out to help in so many ways. I’m sorry to miss the funeral, but I will be present in spirit.
My cousin, my friend. Jean I searched for you throughout the years and found you in of all places, Termon County Donegal at Sheila Friel’s home. God bless you and keep you in the peace of faith and love.
On behalf of Altram, who are based in Derry and Belfast, I would like to send our condolences to the family of Jean. Both Jean and her late husband Bob were great supporters of the revival of the Irish language in Ireland. I met with them on a number of occasions and I have always admired their commitment to Ireland. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.

“When Irish eyes are smiling, sure ’tis like a morn in spring.
In the lilt of Irish laughter you can hear the angels sing,
When Irish hearts are happy all the world seems bright and gay,
And when Irish eyes are smiling, sure, they steal your heart away.”
Jean, Thanks to you and Bob for making me so welcome at the Ceili Club and for all the years of your kind friendship. I will miss you. With love and sympathy to your family, Denise
Sincerely apologize for the lose of Jean I have many fond memories of her and Bobs visits.
