Jean Ann Donatelli

May 14, 1941 - March 06, 2025

Jean Ann Donatelli, born on May 14, 1941, daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Ranker, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025, at the age of 83. A Pittsburgh native and resident of Cranberry Township, formerly of Seneca Lake and Wintersville, OH. Jean was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother.

Jean was married to her beloved husband, Donald Donatelli, on June 16, 1962, and together they built a life filled with love and adventure. She is survived by her daughter, Shari (James) Dillon, and her son, Mark Donatelli. As a proud grandmother, Jean took immense joy in her grandchildren, celebrating their every accomplishment: Jacob Donatelli, Riley Dillon, Zachary Donatelli, Shelby Dillon and Kelsey Dillon. She put her family first in every aspect of her daily life as avid supporter frequently attending sporting events and celebrating academic achievements. She cherished family time: summers at the lake; annual vacations; and cruises, especially the grandchildren’s cruise she planned.

Jean was the big sister who held the family together. Her younger siblings are Judith Longton, Jack Ranker, Richard Ranker, and Kathleen Bouch, and she was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Miller and David Ranker. She was not only a loving family member but also had many talents, interests, and jobs. She was a passionate travel agent, worked in the sales force for Nextel, was a licensed realtor selling FHA and VA home loans, and taught mentally handicapped children and adults. Jean embraced life through many travel adventures throughout the world. She had a loving spirit that touched everyone around her. A devout Catholic, she found solace and joy in her faith, which guided her throughout her life.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held Saturday at Noon at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church, with Father Joe Freedy officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 4000 Mt. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Jean’s memory, honoring her compassionate heart and love for others.

I’ve known Jean as long as I’ve known her beautiful sister in law Beverly. She made me feel like a part of her beautiful family. We spent many hours together talking and laughing . The most recent memory I have of Jean was going to Christmas mass this past year. It was a special time for me and I will never forget Jean. She had a beautiful spirit and a glorious heart ❤️
Heaven definitely gained an angel immediately when she passed.
    I loved Jean….. always have….. always will.
    Rest peacefully sweet sister 😇
