Jason M. Hunt, Age 42, of Cranberry Township passed away suddenly in his sleep on Saturday, December 30, 2023. Born September 10, 1981, Jason was the beloved son of Joseph Hunt and Eva “Sonia” Berg, and beloved grandson of the late Eugene and Virginia Hunt, and Eva Olga Savol.
Besides his parents, Jason is survived by his only brother, Ian Hunt and many uncles, aunts and nephews and nieces. Jason will be missed dearly by Ian and his father, Joseph Hunt. He will also be deeply missed by his many uncles, aunts, and cousins: Mary, Gary and Maristel, Tim and Leslie, Terry and Marion, Kathleen and Jack, Gene and Margie, Ann and Mike, Patty and Binny, Andrew and Ann, and Virginia. His many first cousins are: Kim, Jeff, Brian, Sean, Hunter, Eugene III, Emily, Tim, Aaron, Adam, Michael, Justin, Terra, Colin, Ryan, Darren. He also had many second and even third generation cousins and enjoyed time with all of them.
Jason had an extremely charismatic personality and many close and loyal friends, who will deeply feel his loss. Jason was an enthusiastic fan of golfing, Steelers and loved to camp and fish. He had a great deal of experience in restaurant management and he also loved to cook. Jason’s dream was to own his own restaurant. He was in the process of renovating the old Perrytowne Bar and was planning to open it as the Perrytown Tap House. Jason was weeks away from achieving his dream. Jason, Jason’s Dad, and many family and friends, have been diligently working towards realizing his dream – a testament to the love of his family and friends.
Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 from 3- 7 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 5, 2024 at 11am at the Funeral Home.
Flowers may be sent to Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township. Jason was a strong supporter of U.S. troops, at home and overseas, and memorial gifts may be given in Jason’s name to any Veterans organization.

Jason my brother…you were a great friend and mentor to me during our time at the Perrytowne. I was looking forward to working with you once again. Will miss you. Rest in Peace and GOD be with you.
