Service: Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday 10 AM at St. Athanasius Church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.
Janet L. Platek (Hubick), 83 of Westview, on January 4, 2024 walked with angels. Daughter of the late Harry and Estella Hubick; beloved wife of 49 years of the late Jerry J. Platek; loving and devoted mother of the late Denise (Rich) Wilmus and Ronald J. (Sharon) Platek; proud Ma of Matthew J. (Gina) Platek, the late Brian Wilmus, Nicole (Joe) Puorro, Julie (Andrew) Brisco, and Ronald J. Jr. (Amy) PIatek; proud Great Grandmother of Alena, Haylee, Aubrey, Leighton, Mason and Maverick Brisco, Ava, Michael and Jacob Puorro, Penelope Platek and Logan Platek; great great grandmother of Jay Jackson; devoted niece of the late Sophie and William Gergley.

You will be dearly missed Aunt Janet. We have great comfort knowing you are with Uncle Jerry and the angels.
Our hearts go out to Ron Platek and family. Janet was always so sweet and a true lady. We are so sorry for your loss.
I loved Jan and enjoyed all of the time I spent with her. I was blessed to have her not only as a neighbor, but as a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn her passing.
Mrs. Platek was a ray of sunshine on Highland Avenue. Always ready to brighten my day with her great smile and happy voice. May you enjoy eternal peace, Mrs. Platek. My deepest sympathy Ronnie and family.
