Age 75, of Cranberry Twp. (previously of Butler), joined his Lord and Saviour on Friday, September 13, 2013. Beloved husband for 53 years of Joanne (Schaly) Warren; Loving father of Kathy (Dave) Moser, Linda (Mark) White, Marcie (Bob) Brazer; Proud grandfather of Scott, Kelly (Ryan McCullough), Brian and Kevin White; Lisa, Michelle and Megan Moser; Allison, Tyler and Adam Brazer; Great grandfather of Molly McCullough; Brother of Janet (Bill) Hall. Jim was a Professional Electrical Engineer with certifications as a Manufacturing Engineer, a Fellow in Production and Inventory Management and a Certified Fire Investigator. He filed patent applications regarding protection circuits and has had numerous papers published. Jim graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City in 1956 then went on to earn his BSEE from Penn State University and his MSEE from the University of Pittsburgh. Jim worked for numerous companies and also started his own engineering consulting and computer software businesses. As active and accomplished as Jim was professionally, Jim’s primary focus in life was on God and Family. Jim was an active member of St. Ferdinand Church, a strong advocate for Life and possessed and lived a faith-filled life. Jim with his wife Joanne conducted pre-marriage classes for 25 years for the Butler County Deanery. Jim’s focus on his family was best observed through his loving relationship with his wife and his close interaction with his children and grandchildren. Family and Friends will be received Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp.,(724) 772-8800. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Ferdinand Church, Cranberry Twp. on Tuesday at 10AM, Internment to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Ellwood City. Donations can be made in Jim’s name to St. Ferdinand’s building campaign.
