James Haney Hennigan
Age 82, of McCandless Twp., formerly of Hampton and Rome, Italy, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Beloved husband for 57 years of Yvonne (Meckler); Loving father of Mark (Lisa), Neil (Linda), and Gary (Christy); Proud grandfather of Alex, Katie, Karter, Kyndall, and Reese; Also survived by loving friends and relatives. Friends will be received on Wednesday 6-8 PM and Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, Inc. 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 11 AM in Assumption Church, 45 N. Sprague Ave. Pgh, PA 15202. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pgh, PA 15212.

Hennigan Family, my deepest condolences are with you during this time of loss. Gary was my roommate plebe year at West Point and the way that he spoke of Jim and the entire family was one of love, admiration, and a closeness that any family would aspire to. He spoke of faith, honor, and commitment. Jim will be missed for sure, but I am also sure that he would want you to celebrate the fact that he has gone to our Lord with the promise of salvation.
