January 01, 1947 - September 12, 2024
Service: Service and Interment private.
James G. “Jimmie” Patsilevas Jr., age 77, of McCandless Twp. passed away on September 12th, 2024. Born January 1st, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA. Son of the late James G. Patsilevas Sr. And Evelyn J. Patsilevas (Volkman). Loving father of Jamie Patsilevas and Michael Patsilevas. Loving brother of Judy and Gary Minor; Thomas and Virginia Patsilevas. Proud Uncle of Melanie and Frank Zuber; Brad and Christine Billman; Tracy (Patsilevas) and Dale Rappe and Tricia (Patsilevas) and Lukas Bagshaw. Proud Great Uncle of Jacob and Brooke Zuber; Noel Billman. Jimmie was fortunate to be a member of a large family that included Aunts, Uncles, and many cousins. Jimmie was well loved by his family, friends, and his community. Jimmie can be described in many words, but these three come to mind…Joy, Laughter, and a story teller. My Dad could strike up a conversation with anybody and enjoyed chit-chatting. Jimmie also stood up for what he believed in. Jimmie enjoyed being an observer. Whether it was sitting on the lake shore in Skaneateles, NY, or enjoying the view on the deck of his son Michael’s house looking out into the mountains, or sitting in front of the bay window of his house-he loved to “look”. Jimmie was also an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching football and baseball (Steelers and Pirates) with his family. Jimmie also enjoyed playing golf with his brother, son, and nephew. Jimmie was a retired custodian from Mars and North Allegheny School Districts. Jimmie was also a proud member of the St. John Neumann Church in Franklin Park. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. A “Celebration of Life” will be organized, notice of time and date to follow.

I am so sorry for your loss. I too remember days in the Breezewood plan and the Halloween Parades and Christmas with Mr. Straub driving his truck with Santa riding in the back. Our family lived on Breezewood Dr. for 21 years . I remember Melanie and Brad as little kids. May God Bless you in your time of sorrow. Debbie J.
I echo my sister, Debby’s, sentiments. The Patsilevas family was a big part of our living on Willoughby Road! You have my sincere sympathy.
Lots of fun and pleasant memories from childhood on Willoughby Rd. The Patsilevas’ were all dear family friends. I especially remember how much Steelers games were enjoyed in the early 70’s. So sorry about Jimmie’s passing. Peace to all of you.
Sorry to hear of Jimmies passing. I worked with him at Mars. He will be missed. My husband knew him from the gas station when he would stop with the school truck to get gas.
My deepest sympathies. Always enjoyed our Saturday morning conversation. May he rest in peace.
