Age 71 of Reserve Twp. Died on Tuesday 11/13/01 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born in Pgh on 10/11/1930 son of the late Angelo V. and Mary Palotta Spagnolo. He was owner/operator of Spring Garden Shop’N Save. He was a Korean War Army Veteran, member of Troy Hill VFW, American Legion Post 565, North Side Elks, Most Holy Name Ushers Club and St. Anthony’s Lyceum.
Survived by 3 sons, James A.,Jr. and his wife Marlene of Shaler, Joseph A. and his wife Rita of Shaler and John A. and his wife Donna of Evans City. 1 brother, Carl J. Spagnolo.
Grandfather of James A. III, Vincent, Jason, Anthony, Lisa, Devin, Alecia, Kristen, Joseph A. Jr., Nicholas, John A.Jr., April, Jenna, Michael, Danielle, Tyler, and Briana.
Preceded in death by his wife, Prudy M. Badali Spagnolo, a brother, Donald J. Spagnolo, and a sister Sarah V. Truman. Also preceded in death by an infant brother, Anthony.
Visitation Wed. and Thurs. 2-4, 7-9PM. Mass of Christian Burial in Most Holy Name Church, Troy Hill, Friday 10AM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Ross Twp.
