Jacob Lapyczak Jr., age 42, of Baden, unexpectedly went home to be with his Lord after a brief illness on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018. Jake was born on Nov. 18, 1975 in Pittsburgh, son of Jacob Sr, and Joan (Zapf) Lapyczak. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving parents, Jacob Sr., and Joan; his sister Jennifer Lapyczak; his fiance Des; and beloved son Hunter. Jake is also survived by his furry companion, Jr. He will be missed by all who knew him. Jake will be lovingly remembered for his big heart, love for music, and willingness to help others. He enjoyed all Pittsburgh Sports, NASCAR, but most importantly, spending time with his family.
Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2-4, 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11 am at the funeral home, with Rev. Matt Klenk officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests material contributions be made to the Beaver County Humane Society in Jake’s name.

We are shocked and saddened to hear of Jake’s passing. He was our next door neighbor and was always friendly and kind.
We will miss seeing him and his dog Jr in the yard. Jr would always come over to say hello if Jack was in the yard.
