Of Slippery Rock, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023. Born September 13, 1941, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Arthur and Mary Douglas; beloved husband of 42 years to Patrica J. (Toner) Douglas; loving father of Diana Shaffer (John), Melissa Choromanski (Andy), Jackie Douglas, Tracy Zajac (Rick), Bridget Gercken (Bill), Byron “Boo” Stanton (Chris) and the late Patrick Stanton (surviving spouse, Ami) and Colman Stanton; brother of Arlene Kaye (Paul) and Bryan Douglas (Cynthia) and the late Craig Douglas; also survived by 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Jack was a Boilermaker for Local #154 for over 50 years. Friends received Wednesday, from 3-7 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL INC., 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. A Blessing Service will be held at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m.
