Service: Wednesday 11 am Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, with Rev. Matt Klenk officiating.
Ivan Coene, age 74, of Marshall Twp., passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Chris was born Nov. 29, 1943, son of Ivan N., and Viola S. (DeGarmo) Coene. Beloved husband of the late Linda (Wallace) Coene; loving father of Carolyn (Jacob) Bowden, Jessica (Meghan) Coene, and the late Amanda Coene; dear grandpap of Mikaya. He is also survived by loving family and dear friends.
Chris will be deeply missed for his big heart, his love for his family, especially his granddaughter, and his passion for motorcycles, cars, and planes. He was a member of the Honda Goldwing Association, and the Condor Aero Club. He was always willing to lend a hand when needed, to help a friend, to work in the community, and to take care of his family.
Family and friends will be received Monday from 6-8,and Tuesday from 2-4, 6-8 at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Rd. A Celebration of Chris’s Life will take place Wednesday at 11 am at the funeral home, with Rev. Matt Klenk officiating.
Interment will follow in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton.

I’ve known Chris since square dance days. He and Linda were in our s d group. We all had a lot of fun together. He will be missed. R I P Chris.

Truly a good friend and giving person. Always there to help. I will miss him dearly, as will all who knew him. Rest in peace my friend, we’ll take it from here.
We will miss him! He is now re-united with Linda, the love of his life, who went before him, and their daughter, Mandy. Rest in peace, Chris! We will miss you!
