Visitation: No Visitation

Irene Reese, 79, of Ross Township passed away on August 25, 2023. Daughter to the late Henry and Irene LeRoy; Beloved wife for 60 years to Robert Reese; Loving mother of Robert, Jr. (The late Deborah), David Reese, Lori Reese Cassel, and the late Louann Irene Reese; Proud grandmother of Alex Cassel and R.J. Reese; sister to Mary, the late Donald, Richard, Arsene James “Sonny”, Henry, Valentine, Jerome, Josephine, and Helen Jean. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Irene was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother. Her kindness and her compassion for others was greater than words could ever describe. A stay-at-home mother for many years, once her children left the home she worked as a home health aide for a brief period of time, doing what she could for others in need of assistance. After a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, she and her late husband Robert spent many years traveling together to make happy memories. She would continue these adventures with her beloved grandchildren Alex and RJ, whom enjoyed spending time with her. Her strength and determination were admirable traits, being afflicted with many ailments and she persevered through life’s many trials and tribulations. Irene led a beautiful life, with a beautiful soul to match. She will be loved and missed by many.
