Wife of the late Henry Stettner; loving mother of Deborah Bakowski (James), David Stettner (Margaret) and Donald Stettner; sister of Ann Foley; proud grandmother of Kara Bakowski, Michael J. Stettner (Julie), Hayley M. Stettner, Marika Stettner and Brandon Stettner; also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends received Monday 1 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills.

To the entire Stettner family, I want to extend my condolences. Cherish all the good times and memories and keep them close to your heart. Both Helen and Heine were extremely kind and caring people–they both will be missed by many. Although I do not know ow many of you, I knew Helen and Henry and the Powells very well. My late mother, Helen (Ammer) Schmidt, was the youngest child of Marie and George Ammer from Troy Hill. When my mother passed away in 1999, they all came to support us and it meant the world to my sister and I. Helen was a kind and compassionate woman and will truly be missed by many.
Helen was such a trooper, may she rest in peace and we all take comfort in knowing she is in a better place.
