Helen D. (Rochford) Fitzgibbon, 76, of West View, died Sunday, April 12, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Kevin Fitzgibbon. She was the beloved wife of 56 years of Robert Fitzgibbon; loving mother of Patti (the late Kevin), Michael (Kim), Laurie (David) Regrut and Kerry (Allen) Beam; proud grandmother of Sean (Wendy), Daniel (Jennifer), Matthew, Meghan, Cory and Dillon; great-grandmother of Shayla, Gavin and Leah; sister of Patricia, Mary Rita, JoAnne and Anna; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Helen was a graduate of St. Benedicts Academy, a lifelong member of St. Athanasius Parish, a volunteer at Highland Elementary and a longtime employee of the Internal Revenue Service. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Athanasius Church, West View. A special mention to the staff at Kane Ross Regional Hospital, each and every one of you have been amazing, loyal and compassionate throughout all these years. God bless you and thank you.
