Helen F. Bloss, 100, passed away on January 13, 2024. Daughter to the late William and Marie Freudenberg; wife of 49 years to the late William Bloss; mother to Mark (Cindy) Bloss and Bruce (Barbara ) Bloss; grandmother to Katie (John) Perrin, Jennifer Bloss, Gretchen (Tom) Perry, William (Courtney) Bloss, Neal Bloss, Clayton Bloss; great grandmother to 5 great grandchildren; sister to June Carder and the late Norma Ingles.
Helen was a terrific bowler and was a part of the bowling league “The Lucky Devils” up until two years ago. She was one of their highest scorers. She continued to have a 400 series. While she was at the Haven, she was very active with volleyball. She exercised daily. Helen was a devoted member to the Church of Christ of Millvale for her entire life. She also was a firm believer that the secret to a long life is a glass of port each evening.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 9 AM until the time of service at 11 AM at DEVLIN Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy.
Mark, So sorry for your loss. But nice your mom made it to the 100 benchmark. She was a warm and most welcoming soul. Heartfelt thoughts to you and family.
