Helen Burda Trant
Age 98, of West View, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Born July 5, 1922, daughter of the late Julian and Helen (Samuel) Krawczyk. Beloved wife of the late Henry “Mike” Burda, and Thomas T. Trant; loving mother of Judith Leszun (William), Jane Burda, Carol Sherratt (Douglas), and the late Daniel Burda (Lorraine); dear grandma of seven grandchildren, and GG to nine great-grandchildren with one on the way; Sister of Richard, and Edward Krawczyk, and the late Stanley Krawczyk, Rose Stachura, Wanda Antoszewski, and Henry and Norbert Krawczyk.
Family and friends are welcome on Monday from 2-4, and 6-8 pm to at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish/St. Teresa of Avila Church. Interment will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Helen’s name to The Down Syndrome Society of Pittsburgh, The Parkinson’s Foundation, or ADHD Association.
